We appreciate your interest in adopting one of the animals in our care
Here’s what you should know about our adoption process
1. Fair Selection: We operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. Every application is time-stamped to ensure fairness.
2. Limited Responses: We receive a high volume of applications, and unfortunately, we can’t respond to all of them. If you haven’t heard from us within 48 hours on a working day, it means we were unable to consider your application.
3. Common Reasons: The main reasons for not being selected are either that someone else suitable applied before you or that your application doesn’t meet the animal’s specific rehoming criteria.
4. Data Protection: To comply with data protection laws, we delete unsuccessful applications within 7 days of receipt.
5. Small Team: Our animal centre is run by a small team who also care for the animals. We don’t have dedicated email staff, so please avoid contacting us to confirm your application’s receipt; we assure you that we’ve received it.
